Skype blocks your port 80

I tried to run XAMPP off my HP laptop and, there was something on port 80 preventing it to run. All other services were fine including MySQL and PHPMyAdmin.

I went on Google to see what it could be, some suggested that it’s the anti-virus program so I went ahead and uninstalled my free AVG 8, restarted however netstat -a suggested that there was still something listening on port 80.

Out of ideas, I uninstalled XAMPP and installed WAMP - this program had a diagnostic tool for the port 80, and suggested it could be Skype. Pretty clever! so I shut down Skype and now, I have LAMP running on my Vista laptop. Oh, it has Hackintosh running on it too, a.k.a. Mac OS X Leopard :)
